Meet the Builder

Founded in 2020, Torch Craft Marine may be new to business, but Troy is no stranger to building boats. In his shop nestled in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range, he built several boats for himself and friends before deciding to turn his hobby into his business.

With nearly 30 years of experience in welding and fabrication, Troy has experience in digital imaging, CAD drawing, prepress design, welding, advanced welding, and an electrical background.

Prior to founding Torch Craft Marine, Troy owned Oregon Torch Craft, a custom sign and metalwork company. Using his state-of-the-art CNC machine, he spent over five years creating metal masterpieces for people nationwide.

Troy has a passion for building boats, fishing, and off-roading. He spends much of his free time enjoying Oregon outdoors, and of course, adventuring in his own jet boat.
